I\nwatched with an immense curiosity the Opening Ceremony of the Tokyo Olympics<\/strong>. A whole year of waiting\nand the fact that I had the privilege to get to see pieces from an Olympics \u2013 the\nLondon 2012 Olympics \u2013 aroused my curiosity, it created such an impatience in\nme as if I was going to compete J.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I had\nsuch a lump in my throat when I saw the ceremony in Tokyo without an audience!\nWhat was missing was that vibe generated by thousands of spectators, the noise,\nthe hustle and bustle, the waves made by people and even the cheers were\nmissing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If I\nhadn’t been to London<\/strong> for the\nOpening, maybe I wouldn’t have known how it could have been here, in Tokyo, in\ntimes without COVID\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I\narrived at the stadium by subway, more precisely with the crowd of people on\nthe subway. You couldn’t possibly miss the destination, because the wave was\ntaking you\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I don’t\nknow what this neighborhood is normally like, but now it was full of people! A\nchaotic circulation, a mixture of people of all nations, police, athletes,\ndelegations, volunteers who were there to guide you, to inform you and even to\nentertain you. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
