… this association has been and is still following me, after 30 years (update December 2024)<\/em>. To quote a friend of mine, I have entered the collective unconscious \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Yes, I am Dana Mladin from the “Stars’ School”,\neven if my “history” has not started and has not ended with this.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I smile every time when someone in the street, in a shop or\nin a line stares at me and tells me I look kind of familiar, but he\/she has no\nidea why… Have we been high-school colleagues? Am I an actress by any chance?\nOr maybe I was on TV? Wait! I know you! You are from the tv show “Stars’\nSchool”! And then we start remembering things.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

STARS’ SCHOOL TVR<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

This was a chapter that marked a whole generation. And especially us, who were part of the project. Myself \u2013 first and foremost as an editor. Then as a host. I have learned from “Mr. Titus” how a show is made, what professional respect is and how to let your imagination free.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I have spent years in the TVR \u2013 the public television\nstudios, in the control room or in the make-up department, in the editor’s\nroom, in rehearsal and post-production rooms. And outside, anywhere, when we\nwere filming around the country or when we were going on tours and to music\nfestivals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sometimes I got involved in things that were not my\nbusiness, but I have always liked learning during the moments I had nothing to\ndo as a host or as an editor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As the host of the show, the thing that I liked most was\nhaving to transform into all kinds of characters, depending on the script.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I changed tens of costumes, I wore wigs, moustaches, beards, I was bald or a diva with long hair, I played the role of a man, of a news anchor, a mayor, or a fortune teller, I filmed on the roof of the theatre building in Mamaia, I came out of the snow, I jumped in cold water and many other things like that. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

For the special New Year’s Eve shows, I was trying to learn the gestures of some great artists, to be able to imitate them during my intros.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is an experience nobody could ever forget.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
